Dani Guinsberg is CEO, Creative Director and founder of The Session School, which she launched in 2008. Dani is one of the UK’s leading makeup artists and her work features regularly in magazines such as British Vogue, Teen Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Stella Magazine, ES Magazine, British Cosmopolitan and British Marie Claire.
She is currently one of the judges for Instyle magazine beauty awards.
Dani’s advertising clients include Marks and Spencer, New Look, John Lewis, Barry M Cosmetics, BHS, Evans, Debenhams and Boden.
Her work for magazines and commercials takes her around the world on location, and when she is not jumping on and off a plane or in and out of a studio, Dani is teaching at The Session School. Julie Jacobs is a highly respected makeup artist with over a decade of experience in the industry. Having started her career working as a Beauty Therapist at Harrods, Knightsbridge, she went on to work on cruise liners for Steiner salons, travelling to the Caribbean and the Far East. On her return, Julie decided to pursue a career in professional makeup artistry, and began by assisting established professionals on catwalk shows such as Prada, Miu Miu, Givenchy, Loewe, Louis Vuitton and Chloe in London, Paris and Milan.
Julie has created catwalk looks and worked on shoots for magazines including Dazed and Confused, i-D, Arena Homme Plus, British Elle, British Vogue, British Marie Claire, Exit, French Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Queen, Italian Amica, Italian Elle, L’Uomo Vogue, Nylon, Purple, Teen Vogue, Vogue Nippon, Italian Glamour, L’Officiel, and British Glamour. Amanda Bell is a leading makeup artist with a 20 year career that has also included being an award winning product designer, a brand manager and a teacher of makeup artistry at the The Session School. Amanda studied 3 Dimensional Art at St Martin’s and Makeup Artistry at the London College of Fashion. Whilst still a student, her first job in makeup as a ‘Custom Blend’ specialist at Prescriptives, ignited her passion for formulation and colour, and gave her a thorough understanding of both skin, and consumer needs. Amanda regularly works on shoots for fashion, film and music, both for print and film and her work appears in publications such as Grazia, Teen Vogue, Glamour and French and British Marie Claire.
Having worked for brands including Becca, Kiehl’s, NARS and Pixi, Amanda understands all aspects of makeup and skin care, from product development and manufacture to ingredients and application. Amanda teaches Bridal, Advanced and Professional Makeup at The Session School.

With over a decade of experience, Glenis Baptiste is internationally recognised for her work as a celebrity and fashion nail artist. Working with the most prestigious publications, her work has featured in Allure, Vanity Fair, Vogue, ELLE, W and Harper’s Bazaar, and she had shot with photographers including Ellen Von Unwerth, Corrine Day, Rankin, Patrick Demarchelier, Robin Derrick, Tory Word and Mario Testino for editorial and advertising.
Tending to the fingers and toes of actors, musicians and models alike, her clients include Nicole Kidman, Christina Aguilera, Victoria Beckham, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Mischa Barton, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
Glenis has been a Brand Ambassador for No7 and Sally Hansen, as well as developing a range of nail tools and treatments for Superdrug and a nail range for Illamasqua. In addition, Glenis runs a training school for the unemployed, which provides free tuition, helping students to gain the relevant qualifications to become fully-fledged nail technicians.

Christopher (Chris) Sweeney has been a full-time session hairstylist for over a decade, with his work featuring Vogue, The Face, Arena, Arena Homme Plus, GQ and GQ Style among others. Starting off in the salon, he went on to assist hairdressers such as Sam McKnight and Guido Palau on shows including Miu Miu, Chanel, Fendi, Christian Dior, Chloe, Alexander McQueen, and Viktor and Rolf, and now heads up teams that create the looks for leading international fashion shows. Chris has a client base that includes celebrities such as Davina McCall, Jerry Hall, Sadie Frost and Roisin Murphy.

Mariam Jensen started her career 15 years ago in L.A. where she worked as a makeup artist for MAC. She worked for the company in both L.A. and Hawaii, before making the move to London in 2005. An airbrush specialist, Mariam has worked in television and film, with celebrities including Alexa Chung, George Lamb, Alesha Dixon, Christian Slater, and Olivia Newton-John. In addition to her work in television and music, Mariam has also collaborated with brands such as French Connection, Whistles, Proctor and Gamble, as well as contributing widely to magazines and books. Mariam was part of the Proctor and Gamble Hair and Makeup Team for the London 2012 Olympic Games, and had the honour of working with the US Olympic Team, as well as a host of VIPs for the duration of the games.

Giuseppe Bulzis is a highly respected session hairstylist and educator, who began his career in hairdressing in London over 20 years ago. Having trained and worked in leading London salons, he combines teaching with regular salon work and photographic shoots.
Guiseppe’s work has appeared in magazines including Arena, Vogue, The Face, and L’Officiel Homme.

Katie Campbell is well-known for her expertise in street style, pop culture, vintage and theatrical makeup. With a BA (hons) in Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance from the London College of Fashion, Katie specialises in vintage-inspired makeup with her signature ‘flawless’ base. An expert in recreating 20th century looks, she is equally comfortable teaching contemporary fashion and bridal makeup.
