The Session School Professional Makeup Course is suitable for all levels of ability, from beginners or those already working in the industry who want to update their skills. The course combines the syllabus of our Bridal Makeup Course and our Advanced Makeup Course to provide comprehensive training for a career in professional makeup artistry.

During the Professional Makeup Course, students receive intensive makeup training in small groups from leading fashion, advertising and celebrity makeup artists. The in-depth syllabus covers all aspects of makeup, from the basics through to more advanced creative makeup techniques.

Completing the Professional Makeup Course will ensure that you are qualified to provide the following services:

  • Work with private clients
  • Provide bridal makeup
  • Work with makeup companies
  • Assist professional makeup artists
  • Launch/further a career in the freelance fashion, advertising and celebrity industries
