The Session School - Foundation Makeup Course





		An 11 week, Foundation Makeup Course, covering all that is needed for a basic, creative understanding of makeup artistry. It is a very intensive part time course run on Saturdays only. It is extremely in depth and although there is a lot to cover in 11 weeks, the teaching is virtually one to one, due to very small and intimate classes of no more than 10 pupils each term. Personally we feel this allows the students more time for hands on practice and experience and more specialised teaching. From time to time we will have visiting makeup artists from various areas of makeup artistry. They will come to give informal demonstrations and lectures to the students. We feel it is important to offer our students a wide range of makeup styles to learn from. The course runs on Saturdays, 10 am to 6pm, for 11 weeks – the final weekend will include a professional photoshoot with professional models which the students will take part in to obtain their first photos of their makeup work. It is important to us that the course runs on weekends only so that anyone may attend it, whether in full time work or already a student elsewhere.
