The Session School was founded by distinguished, well known makeup artist Dani Guinsberg to teach future makeup artists the art of makeup within the fashion, beauty and advertising industry. The Foundation Makeup Course is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in becoming a makeup artist, as well as those already in the industry who wish to further their skills.
The school is run by practising makeup artist Dani Guinsberg who has been involved in the industry for over 12 years. She is very well respected, highly successful and fully qualified as a makeup artist.
Her work has featured regularly in Vogue, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Eve, W Mag, The Times, Red, The Guardian, The Telegraph and You magazine amongst others.
Advertising clients include M&S, Evans, New Look, BHS, Debenhams, Faith Shoes, MK One, DFS and others.
From October 2008 The Session School will be running Hairstyling Courses on Sundays.
The Session School Hair School has been set up by Tristan Eves who will be running all the “Session Work” Hair Foundation Courses at the school.
Tristan Eves has been involved in hairdressing for nearly 20 years. Tristan has worked for some of the most renowned salons including Fish and John Frieda, before setting up his own salon in 2004. Tristan has worked with numerous high profile celebrities including Joss Stone, The Scissor Sisters Faithless, Ja Rule, L L Cool J, and Ashanti. Tristan has also worked on numerous Television shows and music videos shoots, but is probably best known for managing hairstyling and grooming as a presenter on Living TV’s most popular show to date, “Queer Eye For The Straight Guy UK” and Channel 5’s “Make Me A Supermodel.” Tristan also works as a Consultant within the Hair Industry, analysing, advising and supporting salons and related businesses. His consultative work includes training, HR, operations, business development and marketing.
